10th Anniversary Canterbury Games Showcase and Playtest Event

Welcome to the November 2025 Canterbury Games Showcase!

Come along to a celebration of Canterbury's local games industry, as part of the Canterbury Game Developers Association 10th anniversary celebrations. Play some of our local communities games and meet the developers behind them.

Meetup Location:
TSB Area, Tūranga Central Library
1:00pm - Doors Open
4:00pm - Event Ends

Do you have a game to showcase? Are you looking for an excuse to playtest, or test the waters for some initial feedback? Or do you want to playtest a bunch of games made in NZ? Then this event is for you!

For playtesters:
- Feel free to show up and have fun playing some games, and be prepared to give feedback to the game creators!
- You can confirm your interest by RSVP-ing here on Meetup.com!
- Bring some friends!

For developers:
- There will be devices available at the venue, however, non-windows PC devices are not guaranteed (so you may need to bring your own device if your game runs on something other than Windows.)
- You will need to register interest beforehand, by filling out this Google form.
- You can bring any project you like: personal, commercial, student work, or a game jam!
