Speaker - Carl de Visser
Carl de Visser is a game designer whose work includes the Kennerspiel des Jahres-winning Endeavor: Deep Sea and Path of Exile. He has contributed to Fortnite Creative and is currently working on Triarchy at Digital Confectioners. He lives in the tiny town of Cheviot, North Canterbury, with his family, two dogs, one cat, and fourteen chickens.

6:15 PM - At the Infinite Disposal of Curiousity: Making Deep Games
Deep games do not simply contain more to learn. They teach players how to keep discovering. This talk explores how designers can create games that are readable enough to enter, rich enough to explore, and deep enough to sustain curiosity over time.

7:45 PM - Annual General Meeting
Join us for the annual Chairperson's report, Treasurer's report, and the announcement of the new Committee for 2025-26. Afterwards we will be taking suggestions for the new Committee's agenda.
