LILI September Meetup at 231 High St

The September LILI Meetup is confirmed and will be at 231 High Street

The LILI Group meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month
This is a free event - no fees, no costs, and everybody is welcome, just come along.

Entrepreneurial activity among the over 50s has greatly increased. “The highest rate of entrepreneurship worldwide has shifted to the 55–64 age group.” and over 50’s are almost twice as likely to found successful companies than those between 20 and 34.

While LILI’s main focus is on networking and support for innovators who are 50+, this event is open to all age groups regardless if you are 17 or 107 years old because the majority of the content is relevant to all ages and we can all learn something from each other.

Every month we have guest speakers and open discussions about different topics. If you are interested in building a business, improving an existing business, changing your profession, changing from employee to business owner, investing time in a project or even if you have an idea and you want a sounding board we would recommend you come along to our events.

This Month's Subject Is A COMMUNITY WORKSHOP

In August we touched on the "Lean Canvas" and brainstormed ideas for a new up-and-coming community events center in the middle of town. This month, with special thanks to Life In Vacant Spaces, we are inside the space and you can be involved in shaping its future. We want to hear how you can benefit from using the space and your ideas on how it could benefit the wider community. This space was originally envisaged to host events & co-working space but could be so much more**.** We want a diverse range of people so come and shape it so please bring a friend. The ambitions for this project are huge and you are going to love the agile approach to utilising the resources at hand.
