Inherited Family Trauma Healing + The Collective Unconscious @ The Jung Meet Up

Carl Jung coined the term “collective unconscious” to describe a shared field of ancestral memory influencing all humans. Building on this, biologist Rupert Sheldrake proposed the theory of morphic fields—informational fields that shape behavior and development across species. These fields help explain how animals coordinate in groups and how humans connect and inherit patterns over time.

Therapist Bert Hellinger explored how these group fields operate in families and social systems. He found that trauma—such as war or childbirth trauma—can be passed down generationally, much like genetic traits. This inherited trauma often keeps us stuck, but through conscious healing work, we can shift these patterns for ourselves and future generations.
Amber and Chris, certified in Inherited Family Trauma Healing and Hellinger Systemic Constellations, help people heal these inherited patterns. Amber, a somatic psychotherapist (MA, MFT), has seen profound transformation in clients and her own life through this work. This healing applies not only to family systems but also to inner parts, dreams, organizations, and society at large.
Our presenters will guide participants in exploring and influencing group fields and the collective unconscious. The session includes a presentation, handout, experiential work, and group discussion. Everyone will leave with practical tools to work with their own group fields.
