Arise! Alcohol/Addiction Recovery Bible Study Zoom Meeting (weekly)

--> This week (Wednesday 4/3/24) will be our first week really studying the Bible, after a few dry runs, a brief hiatus, & a powerful Easter service/group we did Sunday Evening:). The main Bible passage we will be discussing this week is 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2+Cor.+12%3A7-10&version=NIV where God is ultimately telling YOU that “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (v. 5:9) - and how that relates to *your* journey of healing & recovery.

--> You don't need to have a certain version/translation of the Bible, or even have a Bible at all. We will read from different popular translations (usually the NIV, NLT, ESV, sometimes the Message, etc.), and you can follow along in any translation from home using sites/apps like www.BibleGateway.com.

-> What makes this Bible study group & this “Arise!” Community unique? I’ll write more on this & hopefully post it today.

--> Feel free to invite anyone you feel might benefit from this group!:) Not all members attend each week, & I have been still too busy lately to truly work enough on recruiting participants nearly as much as I'd hoped. So the attendance will realistically probably still be very light this week as we launch things & get them ramped up over time.
