Details
Join the Christian Believers in Hernando, Pasco, and Citrus for an invigorating outdoor Christian fellowship hike. This event combines spirituality and healthy living in the great outdoors. We will explore a scenic trail, connect with nature, and enjoy the company of like-minded believers. Whether you are a seasoned hiker or just starting out, this hike is suitable for all levels of experience.
This hike on the 2nd part of Annutteliga Hammock Loop. This area's geology is distinct with numerous limestone outcroppings, depressions and sinkholes. It's one of the largest preserved upland mesic hardwood hammocks in Hernando County, with hilly pine ridges and karst features, similar to parts of the D Loop in the WSF Citrus Tract. We will see a variety of scenery and trees (pine, oak, hickory, magnolia and cedar).
Consider bringing water, snacks, bug spray, hat, and sunscreen, although the trail is almost completely shaded.
No restrooms at trailhead. Located just south of the Hebron Church on the west side of Lecanto Highway.
