Meet: 10:30 a.m. by the porta-potties at the trailhead. No flush toilets at the trailhead that I know of.

Forecast: 68 degrees, partly cloudy. Wind 11 MPH.

Shade: 0%.

Distance: About 9 miles.

Elevation gain: About 1,900 feet.

Difficulty: Strenuous, not for beginners or someone not in excellent shape.

Duration: About 5 hours. (Including time at both beaches)

Scenery: The beautiful Pacific Ocean and coastline!

Bring: Water, lunch and sun protection.
