Mt Edwards trail is a 6 km return, grade 3 hike located in Moogerah Peaks National Park in Queensland. The hike should take around 2-3 hours to complete. Hike departs 8am sharp so be early.

Skill Level
Mt Edwards is a fairly easy peak to walk up though it is steep in sections with stairs, if you are not rushing then anyone with a reasonable level of fitness can complete this walk.
Location
The hike starts at Fred Haigh Park at Lake Moogerah. This lakeside park has barbecues, shaded picnic areas, toilets, drinking water taps and a nice little cafe. Using your GPS the easiest way to find this park is to put in the address of the cafe, 144 Moogerah Connection Rd, Moogerah.
What to bring
- Good shoes as it will be rocky and steep in some sections
- At least 2 L of water
- Snacks for along the way
