About us

CACN-Minnesota is a group of individuals who are concerned about the increasing threat of Christian Nationalism to Democracy and to Christianity. This group was created with the support of the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty (BJC) and is affiliated with BJC’s initiative Christians Against Christian Nationalism. BJC was started in 1934, and it created Christians Against Christian Nationalism in 2019. CACN-Minnesota was started in January 2024.

This group was created for Minnesota Christians, churches, and faith communities who are interested in working to advance understanding of what Christian Nationalism is and why it is a threat to both democracy and Christianity
