What we’re about
Join us as we explore, grow in and discuss Christian Theology through novels, biographies, and accounts of personal spiritual journeys!
We meet every second and fourth Wednesday of the month (except August). Everyone is welcome, especially those interested to deepen their Christian faith through diverse literary works.
The books cover a variety of spiritual approaches, chosen by participants for their relevance, accessibility, and length. While reading the entire book is not required, other resources—such as YouTube videos—can complement your experience.
Upcoming reads:
February: "The Courage to Be" by Paul Tillich
March: "Cuddy" by Benjamin Myers
April: "Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley
May: "Gilead" by Marilynne Robinson
June: "The Long Loneliness" by Dorothy Day
July: "Silence" by Shusaku Endo
This is a faith-sharing discussion group. Additionally, we offer study days led by experts for those who want to dive deeper into the themes we explore.
The Book Club is organised by the London Jesuit Centre, led by Dr Aidan Cottrell-Boyce.
