Emotional Balance Meditation for Creatives, Visual Learners, and Artists

Details
One practice that has helped me in gaining a deeper relationship with my emotions is called the Six Healing Sounds of Qi Gong. This exercise involves simple arm/hand movements, color visualization/nature imagery, breathing and vocalizing different sounds. This practice is based on the energy pathways in the body and pairs each emotional state with a different organ system.
When thrown off balance with my emotions or become emotionally triggered, this practice helps me to sit with the feelings and then come back to center with greater ease. As an artist this meditation speaks to me on many levels. I have incorporated the colors and imagery a drawing meditation into my practice of the 6 Healing Sounds which I will be sharing during this meditation. This is an interactive group- each participant may share and check in at the beginning and there will be time for reflection throughout.
