February Casual Nature Walk - Cromwell Valley Park

Let's meetup at Cromwell Valley Park!

This meetup will take place at the Willow Grove Nature Center @ Cromwell Valley Park at 11:00am on Saturday, February 28th. We will wrap up around 12:30, but there is no pressure to stay the entire time.

2002 Cromwell Bridge Rd, Parkville, MD 21234

We will be walking the "Birder's Path".

It is a 0.4 mile loop trail, 29ft in elevation gain, and is rated "Easy" by AllTrails. The terrain is mostly grass (mud is possible). There are benches nearby and I believe there are restrooms available as well. Parking is free and there is no entrance fee. The slowest person sets the pace - no one gets left behind!

Our favorite outdoor activities, our favorite season(s), things we love about Spring, things we enjoy seeing on the trail (mushrooms, moss, bugs, leaves, etc)., our favorite outdoor snacks, ideas for the next meetup, and more!

We're all here for the same reason - to get outdoors, meet new people, and feel accepted in a space that hasn't always been accepting. Everyone is welcome in this group, but racism, sexism, ableism, transphobia, and other forms of discrimination are not. Everyone here is worthy of dignity, humanity, and respect.
