About us
We're flipping the script on what it means to be sick!
Chronically Iconic Club (CIC) is an online, community-led support group for people living with chronic illness and/or pain.
Founded in 2021, CIC strives to offer a supportive, inclusive, and care-centered space where members, aka ICONS, can be seen, heard, and supported outside of the confines of an ableist world.
Meetings are community-run and peer-based, held through shared participation rather than formal facilitation.
🤝Our Mission
To build a safe, supportive and BADASS community that fosters connection, visibility, and empowerment for those living with often invisible, chronic health conditions and chronic pain.
🤝 Community-led Structure
CIC is fully community-run. Meetings follow a consistent format and are supported through shared participation rather than facilitation.
✨What We Offer
We host two virtual, community-led support groups per month focusing on connecting and community building through the sharing of our experiences. Groups are hosted the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 5pm-6:00pm PT/ 8pm -9:00pm ET.
🎁 Donations (Optional)
CIC groups are free to attend, with a suggested donation of $5–$10 per group.
100% of donations support CIC group-related expenses.

✨ Community Guidelines ✨
Chronically Iconic Club (CIC) strives to offer a supportive and brave space for EVERYONE, regardless of illness(es) and/or disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, or background.
All CIC members agree to the following guidelines to support emotional, physical, and psychological care within the group:
• Confidentiality
What happens in group, stays in group. No photos, recordings, or sharing identities externally.
• Respect & care
No hate speech, intolerance, or disrespect, period.
• Speak from lived experience
Share your truth while respecting others’ truths. We do not interrupt or debate personal experiences.
• No unsolicited advice
Ask first. Try: “Would you like advice, feedback, or just listening?”
• You always have a choice
Participate as much or as little as feels right. Listen to your body and nervous system and modify as needed.
Note: First-time attendees will be asked to briefly introduce themselves on camera. This helps us maintain community safety.
♿ Accessibility
Accessibility is a core value. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make group more accessible or supportive for you.
⚠️ Disclaimer
CIC is not therapy and does not replace medical or mental health care. If you are in crisis, please call 9-1-1 or 9-8-8 (U.S. Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). TTY users: dial 711, then 988.
