Halloween! Chronic Illness Support Group
Details
Session Specific Theme: Halloween and fall themed session. Costumes and fall outfits are very welcome (not required)!
- From 11am-12pm, we'll have a get-together in the Library courtyard inside the building and have fall-themed snacks.
- Then at 12pm, we'll move to the Oak Room to have the support group session.
It'll be a "lowkey" picnic/potluck, so if you're able to bring something to share, that would be awesome! You are also welcome to bring your own lunch/meal, so we can eat together. I also enabled the Meetup chat for this event to discuss snack/food options and allergy concerns.
Disposable dishware will be provided (cups, plates, napkins, utensils).
***
Hi folks! This is peer-support group for adults living with chronic conditions or illnesses, including but not limited to: ME/CFS, POTS, EDS, Fibromyalgia, MCAS, autoimmune conditions, non-specific invisible illnesses, and others. This is a welcoming space to connect with others with similar lived experiences, have healing and empowering discussions, and find community connection.
To join the event, please RSVP to be put on the waitlist, and depending on group and space constraints, you'll be moved off the waitlist.
We keep our sessions intimate on purpose. A smaller group means more space for everyone to speak, for deeper and meaningful conversations, and to instill a community.
Feel free to reach out directly if you want to attend but are still on the waitlist a few days prior to the event.
By RSVPing, you agree to uphold the community agreement on the group's main page, which may be updated at any point to adjust to the needs of the group.
