Creative Journal Expressive Arts (CJEA) Northern California Retreat
Claiming Your Heart's Desire by Healing Your Inner Child
The CJEA method for recovering your inner child and building a healthy inner family is super effective for taming the inner critic and for learning practical tools for building a strong foundation for a meaningful, happy life. What I most love about CJEA methods are how easy they are to use in daily life, and on an as needed basis as things come up for us in our lives. We are excited to share these tools with you during this retreat!
Please join us for a weekend of exploring your true heart’s desire by meeting your Inner Child and building a healthy inner family.
We all have a child inside of us. A child once filled with wonder, imagination, creativity, and spiritual connection. A child who still holds all these qualities, but who may have gone into hiding. Healing and getting to know your inner child are the keys to discovering, uncovering, and claiming your true heart’s desire.
From Friday evening at 7 p.m. through Sunday noon, dive into an immersive experience of inner exploration, creative play with expressive arts activities, reflection, journaling, and sharing (all sharing is voluntary). This retreat is based on the work of Dr. Lucia Capacchione, PhD. Dr. Capacchione is an expressive arts pioneer and author of 23 books on the healing power of creativity, including the highly acclaimed “Recovery of Your Inner Child.”
No art experience is necessary. We are all artists and art heals. This will be a safe, supportive, and judgement free space. All art materials will be provided.
Facilitators:
Beth Breedlove, Certified CJEA Facilitator and trained SoulCollage® Facilitator
Claire Perkins, Certified CJEA Facilitator and trained SoulCollage® Facilitator
