Dungeons & Dragons HomeBrew "Fallen Heavens"

Graham Cracker Comics

NOTE: This event is reoccurring for the same players. Please contact the Game Master Dennis to be allowed in. All group members just comment if you are attending or not. It is very courteous to the DM and other players. The lands of Prachixa and Glowermourn had been at war for 5 years before realizing the conflict was caused by Cloud Giants looking for entertainment. During those long years, many lives were ended on both sides. To fill the dwindling ranks of battle, everyone that was able-bodied and (slightly) able-minded was drafted into service. Farmers, cobblers, blacksmiths, nurses, and teachers all found themselves at the front lines. Now the war has ended but the new peace remains fragile. The troops were released and sent home. For many, home no longer exists physically, or emotionally. When A new magic was detected in a previous war zone, the nation of Prachixa sent one last request for (this time) willing soldiers with a variety of backgrounds. For an up front payment, the government would send troops to guide the volunteers to learn the new magic and return it to the military. On success, property to start anew will be given. Who will answer the call? A level 5 character will be needed. A detailed past is not needed but do consider the background before training into the class. Was this a wizard that grew up in a blacksmith household and can make a sword? Does the barbarian have a hobby of identifying herbs? Is your cleric a healer that understands poisons to cure them? A few non-class skills might be needed on this journey. This is a HomeBrew campaign but we will follow the basic rules with a few major additions that will be revealed in game. Please send your character sheet before the start so some minor plot lines can be created.

D&D 5e Rappan Athuk Adventures – The Dungeon of Graves (FULL)

Hopvine Brewing Company

D&D 5e Rappan Athuk Adventures – The Dungeon of Graves Details “DON’T GO DOWN THE WELL” If ever there was a warning to anyone adventuring near the Forest of Hope, this would be it. Rappan Athuk is a large, sand-box style setting for 5e created by Bill Webb at Frog God Games. I’m looking to run it as intended, with 1st level characters to start. Everyone is welcome, although I’d like to have a pretty consistent group to play due to the intertwined story lines and open-ended style of the campaign. The group is open to new players, experienced gamers, fans of the Frog God Empire, or anyone in between. I would remind you: this is a pretty deadly area to play around in and character death may be more common than your typical 5e campaign…..which, of course, is why it’s so much fun! Please download the 16 page Player’s Guide to get a feel for what the campaign world is like, and also the pages explaining character creation (basically anything in The Players Handbook goes, except for Tieflings and Dragonborn). The inhabitants of Rappan Athuk represent the worst of humanity in a world where Evil literally exists. The environs can be made to show this Evil, but I will lean toward leaving much of the “horror film gore” to the players’ imagination if and when it might arise. I would like for the game to be all-inclusive, and as “kid-friendly” as possible.
