Chatuge Dm Lower Trail

This is a new hike at the bottom of the Chatuge Dam Trail. Come in on Chatuge Dam Rd in Hayesville, NC and turn right onto the road that leads to the power plant. This right is the only right turn on Chatuge Dam Rd and it is just after you cross the bridge and before you start up the hill to Chatuge Dam. Park on the road just before the power plant the hike will start there. This will be a four to five mile moderate hike. Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcome.
