Springer Mt via the BMT

Meet at 9am at the Mt Pleasant Baptist Church 8510 Doublehead Gap Rd. Ellijay from there we will car pool up the Forest Service road to the parking lot for the BMT. We will hike up the BMT for a couple of miles with a stop at the George Owen Overlook and at the plaques designating the BMT. Then up the AT to Springer Mt summit. Then back down the AT to where it again meets the BMT and back up BMT to our vehicles. This is a 5 mile moderate hike with some incline which we will hike leisurely
