What we’re about
Imagine a church without supernaturalism but honestly and passionately committed to exploring the meaning and significance of life, love, right and wrong and other "religious questions." Imagine a church of people who don't believe in god(s) for the same reason that they don't believe in James Bond, John Luc Picard, and Xena. And imagine that the people of this church are fun, friendly, and interesting and love to get together, learn from each other, and face life's challenges together. That church is the Church of Freethought. We hope someday you will join us.
We don't follow, let alone worship, a book. Rather, all of human experience and the human condition is open for our investigation and wonderment, which makes every one of our services different and unique. Come see for yourself what it's like! Casual dress is appropriate at all NTCOF monthly services. Be comfortable and come dressed as you wish. Child care is also offered, with age-appropriate freethinking content. Children may learn about history, science, current events, and how to do right and get along in a world where reason is too often ignored or even ridiculed. We look forward to seeing you soon!
