"God & Country" - Free Movie Screening

Join us on Saturday, May 31st, for a free public screening of the 2024 documentary, "God & Country," directed by Dan Partland and produced by Rob Reiner. The film, based on Katherine Stewart's The Power Worshippers, explores the rise and implications of Christian Nationalism in the U.S.

For this event, the Maryland Chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State is partnering with the Justice in Action Circle from Channing Memorial Church, Unitarian Universalist (Ellicott City).

We'll gather at 10:00 a.m. in the Lucille Clifton Rooms of the Howard County Library's East Columbia Branch. The film will begin showing at 10:15. The movie runs about an hour and a half, leaving us plenty of time for discussion afterward. Light refreshments will be provided.
