FRONTIER SCUM (OSR) RPG One-Shot - Blood in the Mountains

A gang known as the Silver Teeth have been making some killer moonshine and it has been cutting into your own shine business. Your gang has been dominating the shine market in this region so these new challengers are an unwelcome intrusion. The only logical solution is to not only take out the competition but also figure out what the hell they are doing with their moonshine that makes it so good.

For those familiar with the grim-dark blackened metal in a TTRPG format Mork Borg this is its acid western cousin Frontier Scum where you play not as heroes but as scum struggling to make a living. It is a d20 system where your rolls are based on four abilities. While there are different “backgrounds” that are the equivalent of classes, there are no advantages or disadvantages to whichever background you pick. It is whatever flair you bring to the character! What does differentiate the backgrounds are the skill prompts and items. I will bring pre-generated characters as well as blank character sheets for anyone interested in seeing how the character creation process works.

Being of the OSR style and of the same deadly vein as Mork Borg, Frontier Scum is a deadly game where your max HP can only get up to 9 and guns will auto-hit. So try not to get too attached to your character and take all the chances and take plenty of risks!

Players should bring a standard set of seven dice, pencils and paper. No experience is necessary! I will make sure to go over all the rules and mechanics before we start and provide everyone with a rules overview sheet for reference.
