Description:
A role playing game in the style of West Marches sandbox play, using the Shadowdark rules. Opening up the game to new players.
This is an ongoing sandbox style campaign in which the characters are exploring lands that had been abandoned for decades. They can map overland travel, investigate strange events, or delve into dark dungeons at their whim.
The party has recently acquired an old keep and are trying to clear the nearby lands of monsters; thereby forming a safe haven.
As with all our games, No Experience Necessary! Beginners and first-time players welcome.
Tone:
- Gritty, dungeon crawling fantasy reminiscent of old school Dungeons and Dragons. Not a kids’ game; may include peril and survival themes.
Things Provided:
- Pre-generated characters will be available
- Or, bring your own 1st level character (use core Shadowdark rules)
- Dice (But feel free to use your own)
