Ready to dive into the Woodland without starting from square one? This meetup is for players who already know the fundamentals of Root and want a relaxed but engaged intermediate game. Absolutely not pros, not tournament grinders, and not here to rules‑lawyer every corner case. But we are looking to play a full, thoughtful game without teaching the basics. If you’ve played before and understand the core mechanics, you’ll fit right in.
Faction Selection: If we can sort out factions ahead of time in the comments/chat, great. If not, we’ll use a Draft +1 system at the table to keep things fair and fun. Reach will be considered which may cause a redraw. All new content of the "Homeland" expansion will be on the table and encouraged. No hirelings and no landmarks. We'd like to try for a 5-6 player game, but we'll adjust as people sign up.
