Internal Developer Portals are a recent trend in the platform engineering community. We'll talk through what they are, how they fit into the larger platform engineering and cloud native ecosystems, and what problems they attempt to solve. We'll also explore a proof of concept of both Backstage and Port through a sample microservices application running on Kubernetes.
