From Where to Why: A Practical Introduction to Location Intelligence

Location is often treated as a secondary attribute in data science, but it can unlock a deeper understanding of patterns, behaviors, and relationships within data. By incorporating spatial thinking, data professionals can uncover insights that traditional analysis may overlook and make more informed decisions across a variety of industries. At October's meetup, join Deshay Cunningham, Data Science Analyst
at Fifth Third Bank, for a talk that introduces the foundations of geospatial data science, explores practical tools and techniques, and demonstrates how location intelligence can enhance everyday data workflows.

Session will take place 4-5pm, followed by networking 5-6pm. Refreshments will be provided. Meetups are hosted the third Wednesday of each month at Union Hall in OTR and feature subject matter experts and enthusiasts in the fields of data and analytics.
