Have a story that's been sitting on your hard drive? Stuck on a chapter? Looking for honest, constructive feedback from fellow writers who understand the creative process?
Whether you're writing fantasy, romance, thrillers, sci-fi, poetry, or anything in between, this group would love to have you!
The Eastside Cincinnati Writing Critique Group is a welcoming space where writers of every experience level can share their work, receive thoughtful feedback, and help others grow as storytellers. Whether you're outlining your first novel or have multiple published books under your belt, you'll find a supportive community here.
What to Expect
📖 Share chapters, short stories, or other written works.
💬 Receive constructive, respectful critiques from fellow writers.
🤝 Collaborate with writers who are passionate about improving their craft.
We'll meet twice each month to discuss recent chapter submissions and review completed critiques. A shared Google Drive folder will be available for members to upload their work and access critiques.
Meeting Details
📍 Location: Anderson Branch Library (largest meeting room)
🕡 Time: Around 6:30 PM
Meeting dates will depend on room availability at the library, so the schedule may occasionally change. Updates will be shared with the group in advance.
Come meet fellow writers, exchange ideas, celebrate progress, and help each other create stories worth telling.

Thursday Meeting at Anderson Branch Library
Anderson Branch Library, 7450 State Road, Cincinnati, OH, USReady to take your writing to the next level? Our critique group is here to help you grow. We'll be meeting at the Anderson Branch Library in the largest Meeting Room. We have the room booked from 6:30 - 8:30.
The meeting room is directly to the right when you walk into the lobby, before you get to the second set of doors.During each meeting, we'll review several chapter submissions and discuss everyone's critiques together. Depending on attendance and the number of submissions, we may only have time to cover 3-4 pieces each session, giving each writer feedback. This is for all Genres excluding Non-Fiction.
Before each meeting, members will receive access to our shared Google Drive folder where they can read the upcoming submissions and prepare their critiques ahead of time. The submission Guidelines are viewable in the Google Drive folder.
Please submit your work by the Friday before the next meeting.
