πŸ“– More About Tim:
Tim Rettig is a second-generation serial ESOP entrepreneur. Tim’s father started a software company in the 1970s, where Tim grew up learning data communications. At the age of 19, he was installing computer networks for cities and police departments throughout Ohio. While in college Tim started his own IT company in the early 1990s, handling projects such as securely interconnecting Department of Agriculture offices throughout the US. As the company grew it was ranked on the Inc. 500|5000 list four times and has been recognized as a Best Place to Work in Cincinnati eleven times. Tim transitioned the company to be employee-owned via an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) in 2019, just like his father Jay Rettig did with his company Software Solutions in 2004. Tim has the unique perspective of being a business owner concerned about cyber security, combined with a deep understanding of information technology. That gives him the ability to communicate complicated topics to both business owners and IT professionals.
