Cincinnati Software Craftsmanship welcomes Gerald Fullam!

Talk Description:
Get your nose out of the textbooks and take a screen reader for a real drive. As an accessibility enthusiast, I’ll show you how I use screen readers for development. We’ll explore parts of a website as a screen reader user, so we can see how abiding by the letter of the law doesn’t always produce the best experience; and we’ll discover the intent behind the rules to help us develop a good user experience for everyone.

About Gerald:
Gerald Fullam is a web application user interface developer who is passionate about a standards-driven, intuitive, accessible, and performant web.
He's enthusiastic about problem-solving, promoting best practices, developing a great user experience, writing clean code, elegant regular expressions, and learning from other passionate developers.

Pizza and soda will be provided.

Please RSVP to expedite check-in for the event.
