September 2025 Meeting - The Long Walk

Hi, everyone!
Join us in September for a discussion of The Long Walk!

The film adaptation comes out in September as well, and so far it's gotten some positive buzz!

Also - as our more seasoned members know, each year, we choose one of Stephen King's giant doorstopper books to read through October, November, and December. So start thinking of any you might want to nominate for this year's long read. The ones we've done so far and therefore are out of contention are: It, The Stand (sorry, Andrew), and 11/22/63.

Options I can think of off the top of my head would be: Insomnia, The Tommyknockers, The Talisman, and Needful Things, but there are definitely more, so feel free to offer up any other suggestions you have, and we'll vote on them when we meet in September.

As usual, we'd love to have everyone join us, whether you've finished the book or not, but we will discuss the whole thing, so there might be spoilers.
