September 2026 Meeting - From a Buick 8

This month, we're going to read From a Buick 8. It's one of the few I haven't read, so I can't actually tell you much about what it's about!

As usual, we'd love to have you whether you've read the book or not, but we will discuss the whole book, so there will be spoilers.

Also - something to think about - the next book we pick will be for our big end-of-the-year read! For our new members, what that means is that each year, we pick one of King's bigger books and read it over 3 months, October, November, and December, meeting each month to discuss one third (ish) of the book.

Some books that have come up over the course of the year as contenders are:

Insomnia
Sleeping Beauties (co-written with Owen King)
The Talisman
Desperation

We'll talk about it at our September meeting, but if there's anything that sounds good, either send me a message here or bring your ideas to Madtree on the 19th.
