(This is one of three itineraries for 2027 Costa Rica trips.)
Nature lovers must take this trip at least once in their lifetime.
We will spend 11 days in and near the Golfo Dulce and Corcovado National Park
on the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. This is the place that National Geographic named “The most bio-intense place on the planet” due to its concentration of wildlife. Expect to see 4 species of monkeys, coatimundis, sloths, peccaries, tapirs, scarlet macaws and HUNREDS of other species of birds and rainforest animals.
In addition to guided hikes in the rainforest at night, a guided bird walk, 3
days of guided wildlife tours in the national park, and a dolphin tour with a marine biologist in Golfo Dulce, we’ll also visit a delightful eco lodge on the Pacific for a few days of R&R.
Expect mouthwatering, nutritious, farm to table meals. Expect simple, earth friendly accommodations.
This part of Costa Rica is off the beaten path, and is a well known international destination for its wildlife viewing opportunities. Our guide, Cesar Moraga, who also guides for National Geographic, has been leading our trips here since 2013.
All inclusive 11-day itinerary, $2950/person shared accommodations.
