*****Posting not hosting this event*****

Hey all,

I thought people might be interested in participating in the twin valley trail challenge up in Dayton (Germantown area). This event is put on by the five rivers metropark. ***It does cost 10 dollars this year!*** There are a few distances you can sign up for:

1.5 miles, 10 miles, 16 miles, 18 miles, 26 miles, and the whole course is the 28.7 mile version. I will be doing the 16 or 18 mile course depending on how I feel, going (hopefully) around 3mph pace. *** I will be starting around 8ish if anyone wants to join me****. I recommend being an advanced hiker if you attempt anything over the 10 mile distance. If you're interested in the 26 or 28.7 mile distance you must register and start by 7am. Hiking starts at 530am and you have to finish by 10pm.

There are aid stations every so often that have water and snacks but I recommend bringing your own supplies and support items still. There's also a shuttle service to take you back if you feel like you can't finish your hike, however this service ends by 8pm. According to the website, the start is at the twin valley welcome center.

Hope to see you all out there!
