Check out our (possible) new home

Hello everyone,
As previously mentioned, we have decided to trial a standalone website for the group. This approach offers several advantages: it is expected to be more cost-effective than hosting on Meetup, provides extensive customization options, and eliminates concerns about features being restricted behind paywalls (for example, free accounts being unable to view the full list of attendees).
A few of the organizers and I have agreed to conduct a 60- to 90-day trial to evaluate the new site. To ensure a fair assessment, we will not post any new events on Meetup during this period. This will encourage members to use and experience the new website.
We welcome your feedback. Please use the feedback button located at the top of the new site; messages submitted there will be sent directly to the organizers.
At the conclusion of the trial, if the majority prefer the Meetup platform or if the new site proves more expensive, we will resume posting events on Meetup. The existing Meetup page will remain active throughout the trial period, though no new events will be added.
