This group was born from a love of film, for movie lovers and those who enjoy diving into movies. Whether you're here to watch a film or chat about it over a cocktail (or mocktail), this group is for anyone who wants to connect with others about the characters, themes, or moments that stay with us after the credits roll.

Laura formed this group in January 2025 and is originally from another state, but she's always been passionate about film. Back home, she curated an indie film series, and now is excited to hang out with fellow film enthusiasts here. Most events will be held in the North and East Bay.
Mary kept the group going in June 2025 after an attempt to change platforms over to Discord (which is still available if anyone wants to be added). She lives in Berkeley so will be planning events mostly in the East Bay.
