Rob Reiner

Last December we were all shocked by the tragic murder of Rob Reiner and his wife Michele. While Reiner did not garner a single Best Director Oscar nomination, many of his films such as This is Spinal Tap, Stand by Me, The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, Misery, A Few Good Men, and The American President, became timeless masterpieces. The jovial Reiner never came across as an auteur, but showed a unique ability to collaborate with writers and actors. He infused his films with a humanism and heart that will be sorely missed. We will pay tribute to the man who took it "up to 11."
