ed by a career-best performance from Matthew McConaughey, THE RIVALS OF AMZIAH KING is a crowd-pleasing story about honey, family, and music, with a knockout debut performance from Angelina LookingGlass.
Deep within the backwoods of rural Oklahoma, the charismatic and musically-gifted Amziah King (McConaughey) herds a bluegrass-playing band of misfits while overseeing the premier honey-making operation in town. When his estranged foster daughter Kateri (LookingGlass) unexpectedly returns, Amziah leaps at the possibility to renew connection and create a family business. But when one of Amziah’s rivals steals his crop of bees and threatens to destroy everything he has built, his makeshift family sets out to reclaim what’s theirs.

--=>+ Tickets +<=--
Everyone will need to buy their own ticket online and in advance. If you want to sit with other group members, there's a tendency for us to pick seats in the back two rows. Those who feel comfortable can catch up in Nova's bar afterward.

--=>+ Afterwards+<=--
We meet in Nova's bar after the movie. Look for us in the area to the left as you go down the steps. Share your thoughts about the film with the group over a drink of your choice.
If the bar is closed we typically head across the road to the Wolf's Lair which is out the back of Jimmy Watson's.
