2023.02 CINLUG Meeting - Emacs Org Mode & Groff

Join Central INdiana Linux User Group (CINLUG) on Wednesday, February 1st for our next gathering! Dan Moeller will show us how to manage schedules and track time in Emacs Org Mode[1] along with publish typeset contracts in Groff[2].

The meeting will begin at 18:30 (6:30 PM) EST.

Dan has used GNU/Linux since 1996. He administered Solaris and HP-UX systems for five years and has used GNU/Linux to remotely manage Microsoft Windows servers. As of late, he has managed rental properties using Org Mode. His hobbies are making 3D models with FreeCAD and transforming Windows dinosaurs into awesome Linux systems for disabled people.

Come join us at Moser Consulting[3]'s headquarters[4] for this meeting! (Many thanks to them for allowing us to use their facilities! There will be a phone number at the entrance to call to be let into the building.)

The meeting will be simultaneously broadcast over Jitsi Meet[5] for those who cannot attend in person. (Though in-person attendance is encouraged.)

CINLUG meetings are the 1st Wednesday of every month. Please be sure to block that night off in your calendar to keep it available!
