February 2025 CINLUG Meeting — TrueNAS SCALE

Michael Schultheiss will give a presentation on TrueNAS SCALE, the latest Linux-based Open Source Infrastructure solution from iXsystems at the February Central INdiana Linux User Group (CINLUG) meeting.

Mr. Schultheiss presented on iXsystems’ previous network attached storage (NAS) solution, the FreeBSD-based FreeNAS, at our 2017-10-04 and 2019-09-11 meetings. (The latter presentation included a comparison with OpenMediaVault, another Linux-based NAS solution.) He is excited to demonstrate iXsystem’s Linux-based solution, TrueNAS.

So join us on Wednesday, February 5th at 18:30 (6:30 PM) EST for this interesting presentation & demo!

Our February meeting is also our annual meeting where those wishing to be members pay their dues (which are used to pay for services like our domain hosting) and we elect board members.

CINLUG thanks Moser Consulting for hosting our meetings at their facility. (There will be a phone number at the entrance to call to be let into the building.) The meeting will be simultaneously broadcast over this Jitsi Meet URL for those who cannot attend in person. (Though in-person attendance is encouraged.)
