June 2025 CINLUG Meeting -- RHEL 10

Yesterday, at Red Hat Summit, Red Hat released the latest major version of their flagship product: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10! But you don't have to travel to Boston, MA to get the details on this latest operating system; Red Hat Technical Account Manager Bernie Hoefer[1] will talk about it at our June Central INdiana Linux User Group (CINLUG) meeting!

Come learn how this version of RHEL -- whether you are a corporate, enterprise customer or a hobbyist at home -- aids system administrators with their questions and tasks through its RHEL Lightspeed-powered Command Line Assistant. Hear about RHEL 10's other new features, including:

• better integration in the major cloud providers' environments,
• an alternative, image-based way of deploying and maintaining the operating system,
• the 1st commercial GNU/Linux operating system to help future-proof against post-quantum cryptographic threats,

The meeting will begin at 18:30 (6:30 PM) EDT on Wednesday, June 4th.

CINLUG thanks Moser Consulting for hosting our meetings at their facility. (There will be a phone number at the entrance to call to be let into the building.) The meeting will be simultaneously broadcast over this Jitsi Meet URL for those who cannot attend in person. (Though in-person attendance is encouraged.)
