## Living Well in the Community
A 10-week peer-led workshop series—with free food and snacks—designed to help people with disabilities and older adults build connection, improve well-being, and enhance quality of life. Join us in person or virtually via Zoom.
Participants work on:
- goal setting
- building strong support systems
- improving communication skills
- eating well, AND
- learning how to advocate for themselves in healthcare and everyday situations.
Throughout the program, we also explore topics like goal setting, building supports, healthy eating, physical activity, managing stress, and developing positive ways to respond to life’s challenges.
What makes Living Well unique is that it’s peer-led, meaning participants learn alongside others who share similar experiences. This creates a supportive environment where people can share ideas, encourage one another, and build meaningful connections.
By the end of the workshop, participants often feel more confident managing their health, more connected to their community, and better equipped to live independently.
Programs like Living Well in the Community help people gain the tools and confidence they need to truly live well in their communities.
