Session Topic: Getting Started with OpenStack in a Datacenter Environment
- Sponsored Session (Cisco) : OpenStack Fundamentals
With OpenStack more than 7 years old nowadays, it has come a long way from being an unknown, limited cloud provider to the point where it has now become a go-to cloud platform due to its simplicity and scalability. OpenStack in cloud environments is also becoming common knowledge, thus the aim of this presentation is to have a technical conversation around the building blocks of OpenStack and understand how it is used.
Speaker : Pieter Lewyllie, Systems Engineer, Cisco Systems
- Community Session (Smals) : Deploying OpenStack with ACI
This session will go over the deployment of both an ACI network and its integration with OpenStack from a customer/enterprise perspective. It will go into the finer details of the kind of roadblocks a large enterprise can run into when deploying ACI together with OpenStack, but also the reasoning behind a complex decision of binding these two technologies together.
Speaker : Luc Robalo Marques, Senior Network Engineer, Smals
