### Tribal Land Rights: Forest Rights, Mining & Land Acquisition – Balancing Development, Justice & Indigenous Rights

India's tribal communities have protected forests and natural resources for generations, playing a vital role in preserving biodiversity and cultural heritage. At the same time, infrastructure projects, mining, industrial development, and conservation initiatives have raised important questions about land rights, livelihoods, environmental protection, and sustainable development.
Join Citizen Setu for a balanced and informative public discussion exploring the legal, social, environmental, and economic dimensions of tribal land rights. The session will examine constitutional safeguards, the Forest Rights Act, land acquisition, rehabilitation and resettlement, mining policies, and the challenges of balancing development with indigenous rights.
This meetup aims to encourage respectful, evidence-based civic dialogue by presenting diverse perspectives and allowing participants to ask questions, share experiences, and better understand one of India's most significant public policy issues.
