Looking to get back into the sport, for a new hobby, a fun way to stay active, or a chance to meet new friends in Auckland? City Dragons – Tāmaki Makaurau is a fun, welcoming dragon boat club in Auckland that blends fitness, teamwork, dad jokes, and a dash of healthy competition. If you’re trying dragon boating for the first time or want to improve your paddling skills, we've got a seat for you, and provide everything you need to hit the water and start racing.

Auckland Dragon Boat Association, St Marys Bay, Auckland, NZ
It's fast approaching the start of dragon boat season and City Dragons are recruiting to fill our last few dragon boat positions!

We train Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5.30pm from Westhaven Marina, Waitematā Harbour, Auckland. You don’t need experience, just a sense of adventure and humour. We provide paddles, life jackets, and guidance from friendly coaches. Our sessions combine fun, fitness, and team paddling skills that prepare you for both recreational outings and competitive events.

If you're over the age of 18 and would like to join in on one of our training sessions to get to know us, or see what we do, please message us either on here or via our email address (citydragonstm@gmail.com) and we can organise an introduction.
