City English for Professionals is an online speaking group for working professionals who need English for real work situations — meetings, client calls, presentations, and day-to-day workplace communication.

This is NOT a casual social chat group, and it’s NOT for students or hobby learners. It’s focused, structured practice designed to help you speak with more accuracy, authority, and confidence — the kind that shows up in meetings and career progression.

• Guided professional discussions (so you practise the language you actually need)
• Live error correction (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, clarity)
• Tense clarity: practical frameworks for choosing the right tense fast (present perfect vs past simple, narrative tenses, future forms, since/for, already/yet, etc.)
• Meeting English: updates, clarifying, pushing back, negotiating, action points, follow-ups
• Presentation skills: structure, signposting, confident delivery, Q&A handling
• Vocabulary upgrades: natural professional phrasing and collocations (less textbook, more real-life workplace English)
• Confidence + fluency drills: speaking smoothly, thinking faster, fewer blank moments

ABOUT THE ORGANISER (SARAH)
Hi — I’m Sarah, a TEFL-qualified English teacher specialising in Business English speaking for working professionals.

For 6+ years, I’ve helped professionals improve the English that affects careers most: how you speak in meetings, how you present, how you handle pressure, and how you come across when it matters. This isn’t “English as a hobby” — it’s targeted support for people who want real career progress.

I don’t just work with people aiming for promotions and better roles — I’ve helped them achieve them. Many of my students have gone on to secure:
