Your journey begins in vibrant Kathmandu, where ancient temples and buzzing streets set the stage for your expedition. From the exhilarating flight to Lukla to the untouched trails of the Hinku Valley, you'll trek through peaceful rhododendron forests, high mountain passes, and traditional Sherpa villages, far from the crowded routes.
❄️ Summit Nepal’s Highest Trekking Peak:
Mera Peak is the highest trekking peak in Nepal — and climbing it is the adventure of a lifetime. After days of acclimatization and glacier training, you'll set out under the stars for the summit push. As you rise above the clouds, you’ll be rewarded with a 360-degree panorama of five 8,000-meter giants, including Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Kangchenjunga. This is the Himalayas at their most breathtaking.

Unlike more traveled routes, this expedition leads you deep into the untouched wilderness of the Hinku Valley, offering solitude and serenity. Camp under a sky full of stars, trek along glacier-fed rivers, and experience nature at its most raw and beautiful.

05 November - Day 4 - Trek to Narjing Dingma (2,650m)
06 November - Day 5 - Trek to Chalem Kharka (3,450m)
07 November - Day 6 - Trek to Khula Kharka (4,120m)
08 November - Day 7 - Trek to Khote (3,480m)
09 November - Day 8 - Trek to Tagnak (4,140m)
10 November - Day 9 - Acclimatization Day at Tagnak
11 November - Day 10 - Trek to Khare (4,940m)
12 November - Day 11 - Glacier Training Day
13 November - Day 12 - Trek to Mera La (5,410m)
14 November - Day 13 - Trek to Mera High Camp (5,800m)
15 November - Day 14 - Summit Day! - Mera Peak (6,476m) – Return to Khare (4,940m)

The Detail

The cost of the trip is £3,895 (£3,495 if booked before 30 October2025) and includes:

• Airport transfers in Nepal
• Internal return flights from Kathmandu to Lukla
• Highly experienced and qualified UK Guide
• Porters & high altitude Sherpa support
• National park fees & permits
• Accommodation in tea houses and tents during trek
• Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu sharing doubles or twins with breakfast
• All food when hiking
• End of hike celebratory meal in Kathmandu
• 10% discount on all UK-based City Mountaineering trips prior to departure, to enable a cost effective training programme*

Join Us

If you would like to join us, please click on the RSVP button below, pay the initial £500 deposit via PayPal and I will send you a separate email with a detailed trip dossier, kit list, training schedule and a few follow up questions for the trip.

It is then your responsibility to book your flights and to communicate your flight details to me to help manage the team.

The remaining balance is then payable before 1st September 2026 (instalments can be arranged if you'd prefer to make payments in smaller increments)

Please note: It is advisable to RSVP and book your flights as soon as possible to ensure that costs can be kept to an absolute minimum

• Return flights from home to Kathmandu
• Personal trekking equipment and excess baggage
• Staff/guide tips
• Personal items: phone calls, laundry, room service, alcoholic drinks, etc
• Lunches and dinners in Kathmandu
• Unscheduled hotels and restaurant meals eg if bad weather delays flights or contingency days are not used
• Personal Insurance and Visas/Government tourist fees
