HAZARDS and MAP NOTES
It may be freezing so dress accordingly. We will provide water at the meet center but you may want to bring your own.
Main roads are out of bounds and should not be crossed. This is shown with "out-of-bounds" purple lines. Use road underpasses that are shown with tunnel symbols.
There are couple construction places that advanced courses will pass by. These are shown fenced and with purple lines. Exercise caution.
On advanced courses you WILL cross minor roads and parking lots. Be watchful and cautious for potential traffic.
Map covers many urban areas: parks with wide open fields, parks with detailed and diverse vegetation, urban areas with many houses, fences, walls, and such. Remember that per rules you CAN NOT cross high fences (thick black lines with double ticks), buildings, olive colored areas, very dark green colored areas, and out-of-bound or dangerous areas that are shown with purple color. You CAN cross low fences (thin black lines with single ticks), water courses where shown permissible, lighter green colored areas. Be thoughtful in planning your routes, seeking where and how you may go in a most efficient way.
Majority of man-made objects shown with black X symbol include various utility boxes, permanent benches, large signs, and single poles.
Cairn symbol (black O with dot inside) used to show art or cultural objects.

Scoring: E-Punch will be used.

Please RSVP by Thursday @ noon December 7th with name, epunch #, and course choice to ensure you will have a map. You can RSVP either in the comments or directly to savelichko@yahoo.com
