What's the plan?
This is a one week cruise in Normandy, initially visiting St Vaast la Hougue and the island of Tatihou, before moving on to the remnants of the WWII Mulberry Harbour off Arromanches where the D-Day landings took place, and then Ouistreham to allow visits to Bayeux and Caen. Finally, we hope to visit the historic harbour of Honfleur, on the Seine, before heading back. This trip is a combination of plenty of sailing, and the chance to visit some amazing places.
Our boat
The boat we'll use is a fully MCA coded Beneteau 37 which will accommodate eight people.
Who should come?
Everyone is welcome to come. Experience of sailing is not a prerequisite for this trip.

What will I need to bring?
You will need to bring a light sleeping bag, sun lotion and layers of clothing so that you're prepared for all conditions. Waterproof gear can be hired for the trip, or you can bring your own waterproof outer layers.
Who will be in charge?
Your skipper, Steve Hartley, will be on hand at all times to ensure the boat is sailed safely. Steve has many thousands of miles of sailing experience in all conditions, and is commercially qualified and an RYA Instructor. Everyone on board will also be welcome to take as much or as little part in the sailing of the yacht as they are comfortable with.
How much does it cost?
This is a very affordable trip at just £575 for the week. You won't need to book any flights for this trip either, so it's a really great-value holiday. Accommodation is based on two same-sex people or a couple sharing a cabin.

What's not included?
· Travel to and from the boat
· Food on board, mooring fees, fuel. (We run a kitty system to buy food and arrange shopping to be delivered to the boat. We usually cater for breakfasts, lunches, snacks, drinks etc and have evening meals ashore where possible. The kitty also pays for any fuel we need and for mooring fees. As a guideline we generally ask for a kitty sub of £80 before the trip and try to give back change from that at the end.)
