What's the plan?

** JUST TWO PLACES NOW LEFT ON THIS TRIP! **
This is a trip along the Turquoise Coast in Turkey. You will probably fly into Dalaman airport, then join the boat in Gocek. From there we will visit various locations along the Turquoise Coast. The area is famous for its sunken ancient ruins (predominantly from the ancient Lycian city of Dolichiste which sank due to earthquake in the 2nd century AD, and also ancient theatres and tombs. On previous trips we have also seen dolphins, flying fish and turtles.

Our boat
The boat we'll use is a Beneteau Oceanis 43 which will comfortably accommodate eight people.

Who should come?
Everyone is welcome to come. Experience of sailing is not necessary for this trip.

Feel free to call me on 07711-528477 if you're unsure and you'd like to discuss anything (Steve)

What will I need to bring?
Mainly just light clothing, swimming gear, and sun lotion!

Who will be in charge?
Your skipper, Steve Hartley, will be on hand at all times to ensure the boat is sailed safely. Steve has many thousands of miles of sailing experience in all conditions, and is commercially qualified and an RYA Instructor. Everyone on board will also be welcome to take as much or as little part in the sailing of the yacht as they are comfortable with.

How much does it cost?
This is a very affordable sailing trip at just £625 for the week. Flights (not incuded) are to Dalaman in Turkey, and the boat is based at Gocek. Accommodation is based on two same-sex people or a couple sharing a cabin.

We run a kitty system to buy food and arrange shopping to be delivered to the boat. We usually cater for breakfasts, lunches, snacks, drinks etc and have evening meals ashore where possible. The kitty also pays for any fuel we need and for mooring fees.
