This is a fantastic opportunity to sail across the channel to the picturesque town of Honfleur where you will be moored right in the centre surrounded by beautiful historic buildings. We will then sail along the coast to Fecamp and Dieppe before crossing back to Eastbourne or Brighton and back to Gosport. Expect beautiful scenery, delightful ports, beaches, seafood restaurants. We will sail 4/6 hours each day, leaving time to explore ashore
The plan
Join us on board in Haslar marina, Gosport on Thursday 7th August, meet the other crew and discuss the final passage plan.
The trip will be tailored to ensure a quality sailing experience for all.
There is an opportunity to skipper a 60 mile passage - a pre requisite for Yachtmaster Offshore.
The yacht
Muritai is a Dufour 385, MCA coded with full safety equipment. The skipper and first mate are experienced RYA qualified sailors. This cruise is suitable for all levels of sailing experience, including novices. Get involved in all aspects of sailing the yacht - helming, sail trimming, passage planning or just come and relax.
The yacht sleeps 8 but we will sail with 5 or 6 to ensure you all have plenty space and time on the helm.
The price of £960 for a shared cabin is great value as it includes
- evening meal on board
- breakfasts, lunches, tea, coffee, soft drinks, snacks.
- marina fees, gas and fuel
- all safety equipment, including life jackets
- we provide pillows - just bring a pillowcase and sleeping bag
- RYA qualified skipper and first mate
