About us
Hey you wine lovers! This is a group for novice wine explore to the knowledgeable wine consumer to have the opportunity to taste and experience new wines. We will offer several different venues for wine exploration. On a weekly basis you will have the opportunity to preview wines that are presented by our staff and, from time to time, our vendors. You will also have opportunity to join wine paring dinners with local restaurants. Lastly, you will be invited to wine classes. These classes will generally have a food pairing component, wine education, and plenty of good conversation.

In this class, we’ll explore how that evolving concept plays out in the vineyard, examining healthy soils, farming practices, latitude, and vintage variation while tasting Merlots from classic Pomerol to unexpected New World regions. Join us as we trace how terroir has expanded over time and discover how nature, technique, and tradition continue to shape every glass of Merlot.

So creative and wildly talented, Jeanea Dupeyron will be returning to City Vino for a Sip & Soothe class. This experience is designed to surround you with uplifting music, great wine, and a gentle lesson in putting your feelings into collage. It’s part art class, part self-care, and part soul reset. A portion of Jeanea’s jazz band will be joining us with live music, serving as both the soundtrack and inspiration for the evening. You can already imagine it—musical notes floating through the air, wine glasses clinking, creativity unfolding at the table. Come sip, create, listen, and soothe. This one is going to be special.

Funny Man and beloved City Vino wine rep, Jon Yeager is coming to City Vino to share jokes and wine. He is bringing with him comics that have played at the DC Improv and have appeared on TV. Can't name drop, you just must come see who it is. Included are four comics paired with four wines and a light snack. By the glass, bottles sales, and other food menu items available for purchase.
